Hurdy Gurdy series

In Hurdy Gurdy I moved away from flat shapes.  I got the inspiration after seeing an exhibit at the Met of Middle Eastern rugs and it freed me to work abstractly. Cutting paper in strips, I weaved the strips to create shapes and contrasts.  Click on any image to see it displayed by itself.
